holiday headband (diy) . . .

the other day i decided to experiment a little, and go off of some diy i had seen. today i am going to share a tutorial on one of the headbands i have made, except with little holiday twist! (the best thing is... it's super easy).
. . .

you need: scissors, paper/cardboard flower templates, colored felt, elastic headband, hot glue.

to start you will need at least three different-sized templates: either some of your own, or offline. I got one on google search: ''flower template''.

trace each template onto a color of felt and cut them out.

pile each flower on top of one another. (big to small).

pick a colored button that will match your petals, and set it on top of all you felt pieces... making sure it is centered.

take a needle & thread and sew a few stitches through the button into the felted pieces.

put a dot of hot glue onto where the flower will be on you headband elastic.
(note: i just used hair-headbands from the dollar tree).
in a quickly order, set & press your flower onto the glued-dot.
. . .
(all tutorial images, taken & edited with vsco cam app).
. . .
here are a few other headbands I have crafted together . . .

. . .

today starts the official season for Christmas music, movie, and decorations. :)

XO, i hope you had a happy thanksgiving!
