apple crunch


fill:
6-8 apples
1 cup sugar 
1 tbs flour 
1 tsp cinnamon 
1/8 tsp salt 
topping:
3/4 cup oatmeal flakes 
3/4 cup brown sugar 
1/4 cup melted butter 
1/4 tsp soda

peel and wash your apples.

chop your apples into slices. (I used six)

pour your slices into a baking pan and set aside.

in a separate bowl combine - sugar, salt, cinnamon, and flour. 

pour your combined ingredients on top of your sliced apples, mix the apples into it, and again set aside.

in another bowl combine: oatmeal, brown sugar, and soda.

add melted butter and mix into the oatmeal mixture to make crumbs.

place crumbs (topping) on top of apples, patting them down evenly.

bake at 375 for 30-40 minutes.  
(this recipe will make five to six servings).
