For the turn

---
I online blog for a few reasons. Number one being it gives me space, it gives me a spot to output my thoughts, it gives me somewhere I can share my life. Partly it is for myself. It gives me the chance to look back on what I did, what things I went through, and just my mind full of thoughts and words in general. Almost every post I have published does include photos. I like photos, I take photos, I print photos - I kind of hoard photos. I enjoy having somewhere I can share my photos with others. Not because they're good, but they are of my life and they often tell a story. I blog to share with you glimpses of my life.

Number two being to encourage, to inspire, and ultimately share my heart of Jesus. If someone does not know Jesus I hope through my blog and words they can. If they do know Him personally I hope I can encourage and inspire them in some way. I want people to be able to read my words and posts and say, "she loves Jesus." That is what I want to be known for. And that goes for social media and life. What I am on my media, I am in life.

The past two years I have been blogging it has turned into me posting photo updates of what is going on in life. I want to partly change that. I am not re-branding, and I am not restarting. I am coming in with a new look and a different view. I am going to intentionally post something because I want to say it. I am done blogging just to "blog". I will continue to post my life, that will not altogether change. But I will not share every aspect and every detail of my life. I am starting to blog things that I want to say, things that I would want to read, things that matter. For instance if I had an event that went on or that I attended, I may blog about it, but I want to say more than just "this happened" or "I went to this". I want to write about my experiences, not events.

I want to be able to look back on my life and be encouraged myself. I may write about something now that may inspire me later. I blog for myself, just as much I do for other people.

I have met so many people through blogging and reading other blogs. Some I have a connection with and others not so much. There is one girl who I have grown a friendship with. (she's actually pretty funny and awesome and sweet) I think I found her blog through another blog and I started reading and commenting. Pretty soon she followed my blog back and did the same. We found each other on instagram and did more bonding through that. From that has grown a little friendship. Oh and pinterest, we can't forget that connecting gem of social media. ;)

Through blogging I really have learned so much. From when I first started my blog I am quite different and obviously older. I really have been inspired by reading other blogs as I continually write mine. I am ready to turn this blogging journey into an intentional one. One that helps me share what matters, what I would want to read, and what I really want to say.
